Description
The cyclist enjoys the wide open Colorado roads, thankfully cleared of snow after the most recent storm!
==AMY’S NOTES==
Part of the reason I was away from Poser for the last year or so is that I discovered I could once again tolerate sunlight, so I got an e-bike and started exploring all over the place. Even in winter I continue to ride, as the bike paths around here tend to be cleared sometimes even before the roads. When I was looking through my older scenes to see what I might like to re-use and came across Rural Rush Hour, I got the idea to update the scene by adding some snow and putting the rider in warmer gear.
STZ’s bicycle is a pretty amazing model, and I really should give it more of a close-up sometime soon!

Wonderful winter setting. Would love to be there. Great lighting and shadows

Thank you! I just kept moving the lights around until the shadows fell somewhere interesting :-)

I love this scene! Very well done!

Thank you for such a nice comment!

Oh, this is a really nice landscape and the addition of the bicycle rider in the center gives it a feeling of vastness that I really like. We just had a big dump of snow overnight here and this goes right along with what I see outside my window. I'll need to mess with Snarly's snow machine. You've inspired me, my dear! =)

Thank you for the comment, Molly! I keep coming up with wintery scenes for the same reason: it's what I'm seeing out the window! I also want to use winter props and scenes before spring, because no one wants to see snow in spring :-)
I don't think you'll be able to use Snarly's Snow Machine unless it's been updated for the newer version of Python used in Poser 12. I'm still using Poser 11, in no small part b/c of the plethora of scripts I'm not willing to give up, including Snarly's Snow Machine and Scene Fixer, Semideu's Advanced Shaders, and quite a few by Netherworks.

You made a very nice sporty winter creation!

I remembered that scene! It looks great in this winter version too! In the past I did a lot of bike riding, but you must have gorgeous scenery to view!

Thank you for the comment, Flint_Hawk, and for remembering my earlier artwork! I do enjoy the scenery around here, esp. the mountain views. Often as I ride I imagine my "scenery-o-meter" filling up, to sustain me while I'm inside working on the computer :-)

Really great winter scene. I love both images.

This is a very interesting style. It has the fell of a Children's Christmas Story book. Great job!
