Description

The Star sisters in their vintage outfits enjoy a leisurely winter afternoon stroll along the vintage shops! ==AMY'S NOTES== I've messed with the Victorian Street Front quite a bit, trying to work it into a town I was setting up for a story, but I've never actually used it in a render... until now! It's such a cute set and still holds up pretty well. I really like Star, but I don't use toon figures that often b/c I have a hard time finding a setting that fits with their style. Some settings are too "toony" and others are too "realistic." So I thought I'd experiment with applying art effects to a render to see if that helps to create a more coherent style, and I think it does :-) Muffs are kind of a bizarre concept, aren't they? I'm sure they're soft and cozy, but wouldn't you feel more free with your hands in gloves instead?? Rendered in February 2022 using Firefly in Poser Pro 11 for Mac at 2048 x 1152 pixels. Very cute. Gloves don't really provide all that much protection when it gets really cold. I am sure the muff is a lot more comfortable.

Thank you, CoolDimension! Of the toons I have, I think Star is probably the most expressive, which makes sense since she's newer than most of the others! She does some pretty cute smiles :-)

Thank you, Molly! Just to be clear, the Victorian Street Front I used in this scene isn't one of the two Victorian street scenes available here at Rendo. It's a much older set that I got at the other store. But I also have the Victorian Era Street by LukeA and Sveva (from Rendo), and it's pretty nice!
