En postant cette image, je me dis qu'une image de ruines alors qu'a débuté, en Ukraine, une guerre déclenchée par un fou furieux n'est peut-être pas une bonne idée ! Mais ne peut-on pas aussi sourire pour oublier une peu les horreurs du monde ?

I suddenly think that a picture of ruins while a war is on in Ukraine, a war started by a madman, might not be a good idea ! But can't we also smile to forget a little the horrors of the world?

Lol, love the no dogs and no food signs, the model looks superb in your render, excellently done as always and you are right, we need some distractions from the madmen in this world, one wonders what happened to him as a child to make him choose so poorly, history will not be kind.

Great scene as always. Those ruins are really nice - could make a lot of different scenes with those. Like the dog in the no dog zone...
Agree with Paul but unfortunately the individual of concern avers that he's on the right side of it. Whether he actually believes it is almost moot as by the time history sorts it all out he'll be gone and the damage done...

Il y a donc un point commun entre certains "beaufs" et les intégristes islamistes : ils n'aiment pas les ruines. Vu la gueule des deux protagonistes ils font partie de la première catégorie!

Hélas, trois fois hélas, il y a des fous pour penser exactement de cette façon ! Quelle bêtise! Et ce n'est pas prêt de s'arranger avec le niveau d'instruction qui baisse d'année en année ! Moi, les vieilles ruines me font toujourd vibrer. Tiens, et si je trouvais une photo prise en Sicile ou Rome pour compléter ta superbe image ? Au fait, il faudrait que ton basset passe au dressage : c'est quoi ces manières ! 🤣😂😉 PS: comme toi, je m'inquiète pour l'Ukraine! Quelle histoire et qielle catastrophe !

Tout ça est bien malheureux, il y a toujours une guerre quelque part. Dans cette image, j'aime bien le chien qui montre ce qu'il en pense de cette pancarte.

effectivement un peu d'évasion fait du bien , surtout que la scène est superbement maitrisée , le respect des panneaux et des œuvres antiques est bien mis en valeur :) , encore une superbe scène pas si éloignée de la vie actuelle

A little humour is a welcome tonic. It reminds me of a trip to the ruins of Xanthos, many years ago now, hearing someone say "but when will they FINISH it?" (the amphitheatre there has amazing acoustics!)

Une composition qui montre on ne peut plus clairement les contradictions de l'industrie du tourisme: amener le maximum de gens pour faire du chiffre, sur des sites célèbres, quitte à faire fuir les populations locales et dégrader ces mêmes sites, du moment que l'argent est sur place. La scène crée ici est hélas symptomatique des comportements irresponsables de beaucoup de touristes. Enfin, tu y as placé de l'humour, c'est l'essentiel !

The artwork is great but I like the thought you expressed with it. I think there is too much doing things for appearance sake these days instead of just being honest and straight forward about what one things or feels. Where did we as people get this notion that we always have to agree and think the same way and do everything a certain way or else we do not fit in. None of that is meant to distract from the horrors being inflicted on the Ukraine but sad as that is it is only one part of this world and there have been before and there will be after it many other such atrocities going on and where is the common voice of woe for those people. Unless something is in vogue anymore people do not seem to be willing to speak out or take a stand.
