I think that was actually a very early cruise missile - back before everyone had them. I believe it was nuclear armed.

wow, you said this may be a drone. And rod said it could've been a missile (nuclear powered). What a fascinating bird. Your shot has lots of light, that's such a white air-vehicle. And I didn't know those were called "cradles". Gives a whole other meaning to the word.
