Description
After strolling along the shops on a brisk winter afternoon, the Vintage Star Sisters stop to enjoy a warm cup of tea.
==AMY’S NOTES==
I had so much fun making the first scene with these characters and this setting that I had to do another :-)
Star is such a joy to work with in many ways, and I love that she has a pelvis actor (which rotates her lower body only) as well as a variety of hand position options (beyond just the standard "grasp" and "spread"). But her eyes are kinda weird, as they always seem to be looking at you while you’re posing!

Nice scene. If you happen to be working with v4. 2nd World Everyday Poses provides a variety of sitting poses that you can easily modify to suit your scenes. They work as starting poses for A3, but you will have to repose the arms and hands. The pelvis poses can help but they are unrealistic. The pelvis is solid bone which doesn't bend very well.

I do use V4 on occasion, and I usually use the S-16 version of her by Karina, which is weight-mapped for nice bending and has a bunch of dials to help with posing, including a way to rotate the hips that works the way Star's pelvis does. It gives you an easy way to bend either the torso or the lower half without rotating the whole figure, the way rotating the hip actor does. My pelvis can tilt back and forth without my whole body going along with the tilting, and that's something I find helpful when posing figures! But thanks for the heads up re: 2nd World's poses. He does good work, so I'm sure the poses are helpful!

Nice scene and crisp pop and color. I had a chance to get star a few times on sale, you may convince me to take another look at her. But great effect to the render, wonder whats next for the girls?

I could do lots more scenes with these characters, but that would probably get kinda old! Star is a lot of fun for me to work with in part b/c I got her after spending a LOT of time working with Lady Littlefox's older figures, and Star is a big improvement over them in terms of usability. I'm not crazy about her stick thin and ridiculously long legs (which are a bit shortened here), and her eyes are a little weird (I had to turn shadows off for each eye for the one on the right b/c otherwise her eyes were rendering black!) I've had pretty good luck converting outfits for other figures to her as well as making stuff for her. But as for whether she's worth purchasing in 2022... maybe if the sale is really good and you're in the mood to make some toony manga-y like scenes!
