Description
This is dedicated to perpetualrevision, who very kindly, out of the blue, send me the key to getting my Victoria4's blink ability back. It turns out that somehow a big chunk of eye morphs went missing in the internal head files..mice? ants? Anyway, once I knew where to look, I compared the files I had in my DS Runtime to the Poser runtime, and copied over the missing files, and adjusted the values as she recommended. A restart and a reload and finally, after 3? 4? years, Vicky can finally get some sleep.

(the forest background is a purchased background, but I can't find the readme--maybe FrozenStar?)

Woo hoo, she can finally rest her eyes! 3+ years is a long time to hold up that headdress without being able to take a nap :-) Love the greens and golds as well as that amazing throne chair that I somehow never noticed before! Don't rest too long, Vicky, as I'm pretty sure Lynn has more plans for you :-)

Glad you were able to get those files back. I still have all the V4 originals stashed away, and still use V4 a lot. Future reference... 😉

I think it was because my original files went away with the computer that Poser was on, and I re-downloaded her from my account at Daz--and at some point they re-did her to be a DS dweller and not a poser figure. I think :D But anyway, she works again! And thank you!

Wonderful image, love her outfit! I’m really glad your V4 finally re-gained all her capabilities. Sleep is important! I could not even install my copy for years until I accidentally found the hint to put dummy daz.ini and poser.exe files into the selected target runtime directory …

Oh, that is a good hint!! It seems absurd that being able to use a figure that you PAID for should be so hard!! And Daz failing to support such a popular figure seems ridiculous too--they could have continued to sell add on stuff and made her free as a legacy character. V4 has a lot of fun in your runtime!

I think that is Friday21's Irulana, Im glad I kept her in my runtime "just in case". I need to go find the disks with all my v4 stuff :D Thank you too!

I'm so glad PerpetualRevision was able to help you! I hate that DAZ has abandoned Poser so completely. It's like they not only don't support it but actively sabotage it. :(
