Description

The cat girl and dwarf crossed the bridge into the Wizard's lair under the watchful eye of the circling dragon and it's master, the Wizard Ludovich. They stopped and Jorl called, "About the debt... I've a proposition fer yeh!" Cupping his hand to his ear, the Wizard shouted back, "What? You're not here to repay the debt?!?" "Aye! Or Neigh! Or..." Jorl stopped exasperated. "Whyn't come down so's we kin palaver, eh?" "I'm not hearing you well, Jorl. I'd best come down. Mind the dragon. You should be fine if you make no sudden moves. While I descend why don't you consider whether or not you're here to repay the debt." The cat girl eyed the descending dragon warily. "I've a bad feeling about this, Jorl." "Ne'er fear, girl! I got this!" Jorl replied (although there was a very slight note of uncertainty in his voice as he, too, eyed the dragon). Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.0.757 with Superfly Cycles 2 and tweaked in Photoshop for a bit of glow and vignette. The catgirl is A3 using some very old material from DAZ I was reminded of recently by Mazzam. The textures haven't aged well and I messed with them to try to give the impression of fur rather than plastic (the hair was the worst >.<). The Dwarf is by Sixus1 and is available at Renderosity. The wizard is based on M4 with textures and morphs by Mortus Vetum. The setting is by BlueTreeStudios. Be sure to let me know if you would like to see more of the odd couple. 😄

definitely a tale to pursue to its conclusion, Molly, as the pictures are a delight — excellent PoV btw — as is their artistic treatment, got my vote :)

Oh yes, Aiko 3 is my favorite of the DAZ Gen 3 characters; incredibly versatile. She is the character Alpha in my story "The Envoys", too. I got the idea for the cat girl character from Mazzam who has been featuring A3 in a lot of his recent pictures.

Thanks so much for leaving me such nice encouragement! =)

Love the dialogue, esp. the bit where the wizard doesn't quite hear Jori! Great POV, with Jori in a believable "shouting upwards" pose! Of course you have to do at least one more, because we must find out how Jori's planning to wriggle out of paying the debt he owes the wizard!!

I'm so delighted that you are enjoying it, Amy, and I really appreciate you taking a moment to let me know. Jorl is a challenge to pose since his limbs are so short but that shouting pose was quite satisfying! XD

I'm getting in a mood to do a few more pictures with these characters. For some reason they're really calling to me. Fantasy is a challenge I've not taken up before and I'm quite enjoying it. ;-)
