Wow! I mentioned in another comment on your art that I love how well you do elderly characters (as one who is looking at her 74th birthday next month). XD

I had to look up Francesco Hayez, of course, and was intrigued to know that the very romantic picture on the wall behind this loving couple is also one of Hayez's political allegories. Yikes! I learn so much from you in terms of you techniques with Poser and your appreciation of the art of the world which inspires you.

I remembered your compliment while preparing this image and I really wanted to make this couple attractive, because one of the qualities of love is being able to grow old with the one you love. Francesco Hayez's painting is one of those in front of which couples kiss the most to be photographed. I chose an atypical couple.

So lovely! Such a nice looking older couple. And as Molly mentioned, it's always a pleasure to learn more about fine art from your tributes to these paintings! Somehow I don't think they'll end up minding if they're late to prom ;-)
