This looks like that start of a fascinating journey in to unknown realms... The palette and textures are wonderfully done.

the image was born from the languid pose of this sleeping adolescent revealed to the gaze. her slightly wrinkled bathing suit told me something about the embarrassment of the body at that age. The design of the chair I chose reminded me of the beach with its alternating colors and stripes. I then chose to double these stripes on the girl's swimsuit. Suddenly, the idea of the sea and the vertical beach arose, it was the absolute complement to these two other networks of stripes. From there everything fell into place: the levitation, as if this adolescent girl did not find her place, the armchair evoking parental comfort, which is neglected by a pose in opposition, the swimsuit and the hair neglected, in a gesture between fragility and rebellion, the rising sea, like the ambition to become an adult.

I join JoeJarrah in admiration of this. Reading your explanation to him is also enjoyable and enables me to confirm how what I see matches what you were hoping I would see when I view the picture. Thank you as always, I find your work fascinating, inspiring and challenging!
