Love StevieUKWonder's comment. Yeah, this looks like a creature from a grade-B horror flick from the 1950s---the kind you'd watch from that car in the previous shot. It really looks like underwater growth, but I see that it's clearly above water. Maybe the river bank is close by. What a wild array of pink cacti leaves/petals, and the decay is terrific. You captured the chaotic yet beautiful quality of this wild, crowded plant. It's beautiful, for all its prickly-ness.
