Ditto Wolfenshire and others---a visual knockout. You even gave the forest behind her similar silvery tones. So many of your works have more than one character, but this one isn't just a single character, but a character who dominates the whole place. And since you call her "Visitor", it's like she just plopped down in the middle of this forest---ET-2 drops in for a few months---and whoosh: The leaves go flying. I love that the leaves are 1) flying, and 2) the only things in this image that aren't black/white, gray or silver. Really nice touch. But further, the complexity of this metallic goddes is stunning: If you made her of many parts, you coordinated all the parts into quite an eye explosion, with flare, swooping lights, several sections that look like faces themselves, and marvelous interlinking sections (esp in the wings). You know those visitors who come by and never leave? This lady's gotta be one of 'm: In no small part because once she's plopped down on your lawn, she ain't movin'. SHe looks like she's got a message too. ("People of Earth...") A real mythic upload: a real explosion of an image, Barb. and the flying leaves complete it. Bravo.
