oh barb, this is magic. Intimate and magical...I love the bunny holding the egg---and he's facing the other way, as if he's shaking maracas, ready to pop up and do a dance. And is that a pink scarf? (Like a WWI pilot's scarf?) Love it. I also love the small number of eggs in front of him---an intimate easter. And the purple-trimmed butterflies (with buttery yellows inside the wings). Wonderful sunrays in a rich deep forest, w/ lush growth and yellow flowers...You made an intimate easter piece, with the best of fairy tale illustration and classic disney, a perfect wish for a troubled world. I hope your easter is very sweet, and that you and all your loved ones are doing splendidly. A sweet blessed easter to you! Wouldn't it be great if nature were as lush, right now, as your image is?

This is lovely work, a really enjoyable image to view. Some mixed media works get too busy but this has just the right amount of detail to engage the eye, I think. I love how all the details blend together, like the scarf on the bunny and egg it holds. Thank you for sharing!
