Description
Lepus (right): "So you were just out here gathering flowers, eh?"
Bunnymungous (left): "Heh. Likely story!"
Lepus: "And you say this is just a bunny costume and that you’re actually a human?"
Bunnymungous: "Check its pockets for eggs!"
Lepus: "Look, miss, we’re going to have to take you in for impersonating the Easter bunny."

Originally I wanted to do a scene with Summoner’s Bunny (so big I named him Bunnymungous) comparing feet size with K4 Lepus, and while K4 went into a suitable pose with ease, I could not get Bunnymungous to cooperate. Something about not wanting to smush his fluffy tail. With Easter around the corner, I wanted to keep trying to do something with bunnies, so I brought in Kit in a bunny suit and fiddled until the scene made some kind of sense! Well, to me anyway :-)

But she's just sitting there, all innocent like! (She probably was just gathering flowers and has no idea what the big fuss is about, although you'd think she might be a bit more startled to encounter such large bunny people!) Thanks for the comment!

It only just occurred to me that the title I came up with for this scene and the dialogue I wrote for it don't really go together, as it's not clear which "bunny" might be in trouble. (I came up with the title first and posed Kit to look like she's trying to appear innocent.) But oh well, I'm glad it gave you a chuckle!! In addition to wanting to use Summoner's bunny and the K4 Lepus with the white texture, I was glad to have the chance to use that cute bunny suit for Kit! Trumarcar made such amazing things and so generously gave them all away as freebies!

The penalty for Easter Bunny Impersonation (Rule 78.95.321.24b) is sever. We take this kinda stuff very seriously. Super image!!

The posing tells the story as well as the text! Nice job. I especially like the effort at an innocent expression by the cute little perpetrator that is starting to look a bit concerned as she looks toward Lepus. =) Sometimes I love the Painnt effects and sometimes not as much; here, not as much. Despite that, I love the story, the idea and the composition aside from the postwork nudge. Thanks for sharing it, Amy! <3

Thanks so much for the comment, Molly! It's kind of an interesting challenge to convey emotions on figures that don't have the full range of posing and expression options that the Gen4 figures do. Bunnymungous has no expressions, and Kit is a bit tricky to pose b/c she's meant to be a baby (so her joints don't always do what I want them to). But I'm glad her wide-eyed innocent with-a-hint-of-concern gaze came through! And that's OK if you don't like the Painnt effects. I just looked again at the original render, and I still felt it needed "something" more. But then again, I love the look of art effects on renders, and I know they're not your cup of tea!
