Description
Gregor and Vladlena entered the coffee shop continuing their conversation in Russian as it had been since meeting in the airport. They are interrupted by a cheerful voice: "Gregster! Long time no see! Who's the babe?" It was Patricia "Pixie" Dust, a girl known to Gregor as a friend and roommate of the other graduate assistant to Professor Van Humbeek.
"Gregster!?!" Vladlena exclaimed. In Russian she continued, "Is she mocking you, brother?"
In Russian Gregor informed his sister, "She's a friend of a friend and her expressions are meant to be welcoming if very informal." Vladlena nodded uncertainly. To "Pixie" Gregor said in his heavily accented English, "Yes. Some time since last we met. The... erm... "babe"... is little sister. Name is Lena Bubnoff."
"Good to meet you!" "Pixie" replied. "Any little sister of big Greg is a little... uhm... FRIEND of "Pixie" Dust. I'd give you a friendly little squeeze but I got to get this tray down and check on a few customers." She gave a toothy grin and returned to Gregor. "Looking for Brooke?"
"Da. Am hoping you two might let Lena stay with you until something else comes along."
Following the conversation Vladlena looked uncertain.
"Pixie" giggled. "Good with me if it's good with Brooke. I'll let her know you're here and she can chat with you a bit while she get's your order!"
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.0.757 using the Superfly Cycles 2 rendering engine and then tweaked a bit in Photoshop. Vladlena Bubnoff is a character based on the much neglected Bella 1.2 mesh by Ali (get it at his website, Mankahoo). Her big brother Gregor (whom you have met before) is based on L'Homme with morphs and textures by the amazing Tempesta3d . Other figures in the picture include Dawn SE, Project E, Loretta and Lorenzo LoRez, Miki 2, David 3, Judy, Alyson, Rex, Roxie and, of course, the P2 Dork. Not all of the characters are visible in this particular framing but may be visible in some of the other pictures that will likely follow. The setting is by Blue Tree Studio.

Mind-bending, outstanding brilliant awesome composition and render, glamorous magic scene, impressive atmosphere and lighting, great pose, expression and POV.
Magnificent Masterpiece of Finest Arts. I love it!
Way too hot, though.😊💖🥰

Great scene. Love the expressions of the girls. She's a friendly waitress that's for sure. LOL

Oh yes. "Pixie" is brash, confident and mostly harmless. I've used her in a couple of other pictures with Brooke in which they are places that would have been more prudent to avoid (mad scientist's lab, confronting an alien, etc.). She's a keeper. XD

Friendly people are always a nice thing to find. Good poses and expressions. Lots of good details in the surrounding room, too.
MollyFootman
Thank you, my dear! I take a lot of time building a scene before I put characters in it. Great content like that from BlueTreeStudios really helps that process along.

Nice continuation of the story! I love how Vladlena is worried that Pixie might be insulting her brother, and she'll have none of that! But hopefully she'll start to see Pixie (and Brooke) as friendly faces :-) Is that Brooke behind the counter, stretching her arms behind her head? Pixie's outfit is cute and suitably quirky!
MollyFootman
Thanks, Amie. I really like both Lena and "Pixie". "Pixie" is brash and a bit insensitive but a really lovely if unsubtle girl. Lena is out of her depth and paranoid; she's been in a foreign country less than a day after escaping a country where she might be considered a criminal. I'm hoping to develop a relationship between her, Brooke and "Pixie" but it might not always be smooth sailing. :-\
The person stretching their arms is Dave, the head barista. Brooke can be seen in a skimpy outfit (gets more tips from the male and certain of the female customers) headed under the stairs and unaware that Gregor has just entered and headed up to the upstairs level. =)

The saga continues. Love the setting. Blue Tree has some goodies. Waiting to see when this story meshes with Dorotea's crew....
MollyFootman
I'm glad you are enjoying it, JD. Since "Pixie" and Brooke reside at one of the guest houses on the Van Humbeek Estate (one of several structures there, including Ghostly Grace's haunted home) they will be catching up the Dorothea and Professor Elizabeth Van Humbeek in the not too distant future.

Thank you, CD! BlueTreeStudios content always works well with very little tweaking and the coffee shop is a gem.

Thank you, Steve! I may be the Queen of test rendering to get everything pretty much the way I see it in my tiny little brain! XD

MollyFootman
Thank you, Rad! =)
I really love these characters (the whole crew surrounding Professor Van Humbeek and Ghostly Grace) and will likely continue these pictures and story segments, I'm sure.

Excellent scene recreation with much going on. I think the stairs would be a killer for the staff going up and down. I would install an escalator. :) This took a lot of time to compose and the viewer response shows their appreciation.
MollyFootman
Thank you for your very sweet and supportive comment, my dear! <3 The story here means a lot to me and I've been taking a lot of time (I'm a nitpicker generally and take a lot of time setting up scenes) maybe even more than usual for this story. I so appreciate your encouragement! =)
Escalator, eh? You'd be a good boss to work for. XD

This is really superbly done, Molly! I want to visit that coffee shop! It looks like a great place to hang out.
MollyFootman
Thank you, Rod. It's wonderful content as is pretty much everything from BlueTreeStudios. Of course, all the lovely people that are working there like the overly friendly "Pixie" Dust are more my doing. XD

Thanks! I spent a long time refining the material from BlueTreeStudios that is the setting and adding a lot of interesting characters.
