As a boy I wandered field and mountain, desert and ocean, forest and the icy reaches at the top and bottom of our world, and each place I found was another mystery waiting for me to discover. One day I found a silver doorway set into the side of a tall mountain. There were such detailed carvings of moons and planets and stars and all those things beyond our own small planet that I pulled the door open without hesitation, and within was the infinite apeirogon. I traveled the apeirogon on the back of a moonbeam I had rescued from the Land of Shadows. In time, I came to the Crystal Universe, and there I live to this day, writing of all I have seen.

Wow, you know: Your story-telling abilities are all over these images! I mean, they suggest story after story, conflict after conflict (between characters), moments of reaching, helping, guiding, dissonance, etc. This image is remarkably suggestive---like a symphony that tries to describe nature, or a storm, or a love story, your image suggests all kinds of narratives beyond the image. The dark, high surroundings, the deep dark windows, the railing to who-knows-where, the reaching, the wings, the chiaroscuro...really well done! (I assume these will not lead to a Marx Brothers film, lol---I assume they suggest complex relationships and events, as is so indigenous to your writing.) I hope you're getting better with each day, Bob, it was a long road, and I hope it's getting shorter and easier every day. All my best to you!

If you were to look back through my gallery, you’d see that before I start a new story I will often do a bunch of visual art. Sort of visual storyboarding. I have a whole notebook filled with ideas for the new story, but it doesn’t really give me anything. I don’t know why I still write stuff in notebooks, I rarely use my outline. Anyway, I wrote the first chapter already, and it was blah. It was structurally sound, good plot, tension, and… blah. My protagonist sprang onto the page already a hero, and that isn’t my style, he has to work for it… Raen Hawk started as an abandoned boy hiding under a bush. Moeth started as a plain mountain girl that had the bad luck to fall on the wrong side of the law. Jaco was banished from Darai for having the audacity to save a nobleman, which embarrassed the nobleman and got Jaco sent far away. Simon was rescued from a bad foster home by Judge Wes and sent to the Lone Gunslingers Academy. Jacub of the Ruk got himself blown up and rescued by the Aeden. Jack fell through a portal gate and became an outlaw. Anyway, I don’t know what I was thinking with the new story, I have the formula for a good story and still wrote dribble. So, back to the drawing board. The last couple visual images are me working out who the new boy really is. I think I’ll toss him into space and let him float around awhile before he gets rescued. Or, maybe I’ll toss his little brother out into space. Someone’s getting tossed out in space. Thanks for the comments and well wishes. New story coming soon. Maybe. I have good days and bad days. I had a bad day yesterday. They said I probably had a bad reaction to the CT contrast. Which is weird, because that’s never happened before. Okay, take care of yourself. Laters.

Your art work is as incredible as your stories. Always a pleasure.
