Description
After the encounter with the flying saucer and the invasion of the airplane by two
of the saucer's occupants, our adventuring duo and their pilots snap out of their
temporary parlysis induced by the tractor beam from the saucer. As their heads clear
and they shake off splitting headaches, the pilots quickly regain control of the
plane.
Steve and Miss Finche groggily look around the plane's interior as Steve struggles
to find the map and diary that are so vitally important to this adventure. He quickly
discovers both items are missing!
"What did you do with the map and diary, Miss Finche! I wasn't through looking at
them yet! Produce them immediately before I really get mad at you!"
"Why you arrogant, stuffed shirt imbecilic moron! What makes you think I did anything
with them. I only just regained consciousness too! Just like a typical male to blame
everything they don't understand on a woman!"
"If I might interrupt you two." says the co-pilot. "We are approaching the airport in
Bermuda and will be landing soon. It might be in both your interests to prepare for a
landing. Sometimes things don't go too smoothly. We are encountering brief cross winds
on our approach so I'm afraid things might get shaken up a bit!"
"Sure thing, Devon! We'll sort this thing out once we land! Miss Finche, can you find
a seat and brace yourself?" Steve says with a self satisfied smirk on his face.
"Sure thing, Steve! But you better adjust your attitude quick if you don't want to
wind up with a couple black eyes, Mr.!" Miss Finche barks right back at him.
As they both scramble into the nearest seating, you can cut the tension in the air
with a knife! Oh yes! Things are about to get real testy, once they are on the ground!

Things are about to get very interesting with Miss Finch and Steve...now its up to the legendary author of this awesome novel, to try to find a way for these two to get along. That must be a pretty confusing moment, to wake up out of an "alien coma" and find things missing! Of course they're going to blame each other, but will they eventually figure out how to work together when they realize neither of them is the culprit? Only time will tell!!

You're doing a great job on this story, Bill. The tension between Steve and Miss Finche is growing moment by moment.. But I have a feeling they'll be glad she's come along at some future point. Keep 'em coming!

Having flown in a DC-3, I can assure you that it is not anywhere near that spacious inside. Standing you have to bend your head slightly. Two airline seats on one side of ails one on the other. Still a nice looking scene.

Good work! A tense and interesting relationship these two are going to have. They will probably need each other by the end of this trip.
