Description

Only moments after his warning about the upcoming landing, Devon, the co-pilot, resumes his seat in the cockpit! It isn't very long before they can see land on the horizon. Steve and Miss Finche can't help themselves and wind up gawking out their respective windows to see the sights below! "I believe that is the National Museum we are flying over now!" says Miss Finche! "Hey, sister! I've been here many times before! You don't need to tell me what is what!" exclaims Steve, in a huffy tone of voice. "Have it your own way, you clod! I was just trying to be nice." says Miss Finche, as she settles back in her seat and grabs an armrest. "I've got someone meeting us at the airport." says Steve. "A member of their staff from the National Museum will assist us in our quest. Now, though, I don't know how we can continue without the map and diary!" "Well, I wasn't going to tell you this, especially the way you have been treating me, and maybe I shouldn't anyway!" says Miss Finche. "What! What could you possibly tell me now that would make the slightest bit of difference for our quest? I ask you, what?" "Don't get snippy with me you blundering idiot! I've seen how ridiculous you look wandering around the museum back home, trying to pretend you are someone really important! Well, I'll bet you two cents that this is the first expedition you have ever gone on where you were in charge! What do you think of that, Mr. Steve?" "Why I..... why I..... Miss Finche! If it wasn't for your father funding this work we are about to do, well, I'd send you back home as soon as we land! What do you think of that, Miss Finche? And besides, we might just as well all go back home now. I doubt I will ever get another chance to get in on an important mission like this!" "Okay, Steve. You are lucky I have just a little soft spot in my heart, although it really isn't for you in any way, shape or form. But, for your information, as a precaution for any eventuality, I made copies of both the diary and the map before we left on this expedition. I have them safely tucked away in my luggage!" "Oh! Oh! Oh! Miss Finche, I could almost kiss you!" exclaims Steve. "Almost!" Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!

Super image nice looking scene, A little clash of personalities...obviously no love lost, interesting that she had already made copies...not the trusting type, the aliens will be kicking themselves they miss the duplicates

The story is coming along great in this super adventure of yours. I don't think we have seen the last of the aliens as they are tracking their every move. The view from this POV is awesome! :-)

Gracious, she is taking quite a risk by revealing the whereabouts of a copy of the map and diary to such an asshat! I'm glad she can continue the quest; not so sure about him :-) Beautiful scenery they're about to land on!

Great job on this page, Bill - with both the story and the art! I'm loving this. But Steve should chill a bit - Miss Finch seems to have her act together pretty well.
