This was supposed to be another 1 day project that turned into 2 days. Took longer than I anticipated to model all those lil bits of detail but I think it was worth it. I really need to make my own bash kit of this stuff! I wish I could have done more FX for some parts of it, but I'm still learning to create some of that, so will have to wait for a future project. I would have loved to have added some steam coming out of the open floor plate for example. The lighting was more of a challenge as well, trying to balance all the emission textures, area lights, spot lights and the volumetrics. I think the inspiration was something somewhere between original Star Wars and Star Trek NG. But mostly I was just having fun and being creative.
