This seems reminiscent of Bridget Bardot.

that looks like a giant needle standing up in the doorway? if it is, along w. red balloons, you should always have the needle in the series, too, for us to find.. hehe.. lovely creation :)
marcopol
yes, it is a needle. It only appears at the hour of the demons, when the temptation is great to burst an idea as soon as it has swelled in our mind. Thank you very much for your comments.

I had the same thought as Giana about the needle. Remind me to take a nap as the hour of the demons approaches, as I don't need any more ideas burst!! :-) Very nice "waking dream" mood in the setting and the character's expression and body language.

Thank you so much. I believe that everyone has this particular hour of the night when thoughts flood in, transforming sleep into a border zone between dream and reality. I welcome these black or flickering ideas like the flame of a lamp, like now familiar traveling companions, I suspect that this road is that of creativity.

Not much I can add to the comments above except to assure you that I enjoyed the picture as much as all that you share! Thank you! =)

I've really enjoyed this series, and the clever use of the balloons to at once provide continuity and yet to provide the vehicle for very different questions. Of them all I find this one particularly successful in terms of light and composition and evoking that surreal half way stage between sleep and wakefulneess, when thoughts run unchecked and both night terrors and blissful dreams abound....

Thank you very much Joe
