Description

Model/rendering: Strata 3D Pro 3.71 Post work: Ulead PhotoImpact8 ("Ed" is premade, from 3D Cafe) So, there I was yesterday, pretty proud of my latest image, "Ed's A Little Rusty". I had turned off my computer and headed upstairs into the living room to spend New Year's Eve with my family when it happened. There was Ed, all rusty and carroded, standing in the middle of my living room, with both of his slime shooters pointing dead-on at my wife, daughter and 3 cats, who were cowering from "gooey-stuff fear" in the far corner. Each shooter had 1 Jumbo Marshmallow Fluff jar screwed into it's liquid holder. He was obviousy quite serious. "What's up, Ed?" I said, quite calmly. He looked at me, and said, in that deep manacing voice "I don't like being rusty." "Well, how's about I do a new image, then?" I suggested, wiping off some of that "whie gold" that was dripping from his nozzles and tasting it. He poised for a moment, then both barrels tilted down to the floor as he began to contemplate... "You know" he said "if you lose the rust, that WOULD make me a bit happier". "Done!" I said, starting to turn around and head back to my office... "Not so fast!" he said, with that slow murmer... "I want a new sleek look... something with a blueish hue" he pondered, while gazing up at the ceiling in deep thought. "And, also, lose the two wall-one point light set up. Do you have any idea how unsafe that is in this day ang age? And talk about no privacy.. YOU try getting dressed every morning with only two walls around you!" Ed continued.... "I want my own place.. a real building, large enough for the hunkin' strappin' dude I am, yet safe and protective, with a real roof, decent lighting, and located in a good area where the schools are decent but the taxes are low. Keep the steel walls, but give me a real sound structure... you're an architect, so, do it, or else!" he said, with that evil glean in his helmet lens, raising the fluff-dripping shooters a bit towards my family, who were now quite calmly making "fluffernutters" in the corner. So, now charged With a new mission, I headed on back to my computer, and went to work on the vision you see above. Now, I know what you are all thinking..., in these times where terrorism has become so prevalant, haven't I really set a poor example by giving in to Ed and all of his demands? Well, not exactly... See Ed's new 8" thick steel wall building? Not a door or window or hatchway to be found. Heh heh heh. Happy New Year to everyone.
