Description
Lena and Gregor hurried to the parking garage where the Gregor's venerable old Bronco was parked. As they pulled out of the garage, Lena began to worry out loud. "Brother, what will I offer this Professor? We've been deceptive. My skills are in IT and networking; some hardware engineering. That is not what she cares for, no? You say she studies..." She paused and rolled her eyes. "...ghosts!"
Gregor sighed as he used a card to pay for the time in the garage. "Ah, Sister. You know I have studied visual arts. Professor Van Humbeek looks for talent that has no bias; no belief in the after life or spirits. I believe she will take you on in the open graduate assistant position with my recommendation."
Lena absently watched a young woman walking her dog and then anxiously burst out, "I think we've been followed from the airport!"
Gregor sighed. "I would be surprised if we weren't."
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.0.757 using the Superfly Cycles 2 rendering engine and then tweaked a bit in Photoshop. Vladlena Bubnoff is a character based on the much neglected Bella 1.2 mesh by Ali (get it at his website, Mankahoo). Gregor is based on L'Homme also with modifications by Tempesta3d. The young woman walking her dog is based on Dawn; I call the character Charlie Croft and she is walking Booba. The setting is by Blue Tree Studio.

Yes! The ominous looking tail finned black sedan to the right looks very suspicious! Perhaps a grandiose chase vehicle? A most excellent image, my friend! Love all the fine details and the splendid continuation you are developing with these characters! Many fine praises from me!!!!!

Nice posing with Lena and Gregor in the truck, esp. with Gregor leaning out with a credit card to pay for parking! I can understand why Lena is worried, given that it's kind of vague what she can do for the professor, and so much rides on Lena being able to stay in the US. Given Lena's background as a hacker, she must've had some suspicions that her entry to the US might've been "noticed," so I'm glad she's becoming aware of that possibility! I'm not sure what they can do about it, other than to be vigilant, or maybe Gregor has some fancy "drop the tail" maneuvers he plans to do with that truck?!
Another interesting entry in the story. That dog the lady's walking is quite the little rolly polly sausage!! Love his studded collar :-)

Thanks, Amy. I took a long time with the posing and am glad it seems realistic to you. That dog, Booba, wasn't my original thinking. I was going to use the Hivewire Big Dog but came across the silly little chug and.... >.< Looking for collars was the same kind of process; when I came across one that seemed ridiculously improbable for a cute little chug... XD

Something about the young lady and the dog reminds me of a pinup piece. Glad I can start playing catch up on this story.

I didn't have any particular piece of pin up material in mind but I DID mean for her to be a cute pinup distraction in the foreground with the story proceeding in the mid- to background. It may be a silly affectation but I like to think such distractions are fun and in the end actually add to a story. =)
