You are by far the best in the animation work Johnny. I can only imagine the time it took to put all this together. Love the glowing look at start/end. All the movements were perfect! I wont be around that far in future, bummer, would enjoy it I think.

The most brilliant, hottest, most impressive movie I've seen in the last couple of years. In the beginning I've thought the lit shapes are actually captures of real people. The magic atmosphere, the amazing effects, the way it switches styles and lighting, the background music and lyrics, everything is beyond magic. Moving to the android enjoyeng the show was another magic moment. Unbelievable master Director, mind-bending fabulous awesome movie.

very electrifying and outstanding movements. reminds me of the song "something in the way you move me like no other lover"

First, the nudes are done with such fine abstract-illuminated treatment, they're not offensive in any way. I love the way you outline them in the beginning and end: You turn their movements into neon abstract art...and against all that black, it's as much a light show as anything. It's beautiful.

After the opening---(upper torso for the title, and blue and pink outlines as if these dancers had neon current running through them)---you start with a long shot, introducing this deep, cavernous club. (As a jazz musician, I played such clubs, and they absolutely feel like a chasm at times!) You caught the feeling right off the bat....But then there's your moving camera: The slow "tracking shot" through the club, as we see all the perspectives open up for us. (You sure you didn't lay down tracks, and bring in a cinematographer??? You really have a feel for the camera...) We start to focus on the central dancer, and then notice that marvelous magic of her reflection, with the bar in front of her suddenly made visible via the reflection. Terrific.

Then the android. He really feels like an android: Ie, stoic, unmoving, physically segmented, and almost zen-like. Then the lights become vivid to us---with that velvety mist. And you start to introduce color---love it, I love the slow transformation from black and white...

Then (I'm going on memory here), you have an amazing shot of one of the dancers, with the club way way in the background; You've lengthened space---as one might experience with certain lenses---and still caught detail on the background. It's almost 2 shots. (That's cinematic, sir!)

Then---if I"m not leaving anything out---you transform your dancers into those neon outlines once more; With wonderful alternations between saturated green, hot red/pink, to reds, etc. And once again the dancers are now light in motion, the human form becoming energy...and you end. I don't know how you do it, but you manage in a few minutes to do a miniature full story. And it flows unbroken from beg to end. (There are cuts, I realize, but it all flows.) Terrific. What can I say...And your outlined dancers remind me of the animation/live action work of Waking Life (by Linklater), or of some fine animated neon art. As for your work with darkness, you got it down as well: One of the great cinematographers was called "The Prince of Darkness" (Gordon Willis, who shot the Godfathers, with all those deep shadows and beautiful deep reds and yellows...he also shot Woody Allen's Manhattan, with it gorgeous deep blacks, etc.) Well, I think you studied with the guy! I think you did (you're just keeping it a secret.) Terrific work! You're really good at this.

Wow ! As always I'm so impressed by your skills ! I love the light treatment and the neon glow. It was certainly not an easy video to realize but you have mastered the subject perfectly. Somehow, I find these places so sad : customers go there because they feel lonely and dancers to earn a living... It's not an easy world ! Great artwork dear Johnny !

Hi, 3D animation is probably the supreme discipline and render types. Great choreography, very nice effects and quality! I'm still dreaming of that, because even normal rendering requires quite demanding hardware...
