This reminds me of the scene in "Back to the Future" when the couple in an old car see Marty try and hitch a ride in his rad suit and the guy takes off! Very cool image and very inventive!

If the Panda is thumbin' a ride it's safe to let it into the car. Just make sure there's bamboo in the back seat or the panda may flip out and ruin your day.
