Description
Pierre slowly approaches the elk-like creature, Bunyon, in a scene from Chapter 10, "The Bluebird of Harpiness" of my (unpublished) novel, "The Centaurian Bud Vase."

That's quite an interesting creature, with absolutely no chance of blending in to its surroundings!

Bunyon is 8 feet tall at the shoulders, and with those antlers, his kind don't feel the need to blend in. Bunyon, however, feels that discretion is the better part of valor.
