Description
I couldn’t resist the temptation to feature these two again, in a different pose. I also wanted the chance to work on the lepus materials a bit, as they seem a bit too shiny in the first render I did with these two characters. I adjusted the bump and specular settings, and I think that helps, but the mystery of how to render very soft looking fur still eludes me!
I was delighted to find lunchlady’s poses for two women, but I wish she’d included V4 versions for both parts of each pose set b/c G2F poses need a fair amount of adjustment to work on V4. I had to actually scale down the pale lepus lady to make the pose come closer to working (and then I tweaked it from there, of course). Anyone happen to know of an easier way to use G2F (or other Genesis) poses on V4? I see quite a few sets for two women that would be useful for my series, but only if I can get the poses to work fairly easily with my V4 characters. If I have to do a lot of tweaking, I’d prefer to just pose manually.
Rendered in June 2022 using Firefly in Poser Pro 11.3 for Mac at 2400 × 3000 pixels. IDL enabled. Postwork in ON1 Effects 2022. View full size on my blog.
(Part of a series of "Sapphic Encounters" I started doing again in honor of Pride Month.)

This is beautiful & I like what you have done with their fur! It really helps!
Sorry, I know nothing about Genesis.

Thanks so much for the comment! I had run their textures through EZSkin, and normally I have that set to prefer bump and spec maps if they're available, but for whatever reason, it came out preferring the procedural bump and spec. So I ran it again with bump and spec at full strength, and that definitely came out better! I'd already done a second render of the bear ladies when I figured that out, but their fur doesn't look as weird as the first lepus ladies did, so I'm not going to re-render that one. I guess when it comes to fur (as opposed to human skin), using the original bump and spec maps is pretty important! :-)

Looks like they are posing for a famous picture like others in reality. Great job.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, they do look like they're posing for the camera in this one, so it's not as sweet as the first, but I wanted to show those beautiful outfits from the front :-)

Wonderful characters. Love the soft colors and shaddy chic feel to this.

Thanks so much for the comment! I wasn't sure how I'd use these characters by Sparky when I first got them, but I've had a lot of fun with them!

Who knew bunnies could be so pretty :)

Thanks for the comment! It probably helps when they're wearing such pretty outfits :-) I got this dress mainly so that I could use these lovely spring textures! (Plus it was on sale!)

Nice posing and great environment! Like the misty sky too!

Thanks so much! I can't take credit for either, alas, as lunchlady made the poses and Sveva made the background image. But I dressed them, gave them expressions, and did the lighting, so there's that! :-)

They make such a lovely pair! I won't spoil it with a poor attempt at humor! Great stuff here! Many fine kudos and praises!

I've been enjoying all these and this one is no exception. Ken1171 makes a DUF pose converter for Genesis poses. I don't think it works for G2, though. I've had good luck with a lot of his Python scripts for P12.
