Hi everyone!
I am a Hobbyist just having fun with Graphics.
I have been away from this site for a very long time, but I am happy
to be back and look forward to seeing all the wonderful art from the
talented artists who post here at Renderosity.
I work primarily with Poser Pro 2012, 3ds Max 2012 and Adobe
Premiere Pro. It's older software but it works for me :-)
I mostly use V4 and M4 in all my animations. they are easy to work
with and do not take excessive resources away from my PC. I use a
Dell Optiplex 7010. It's a great computer and you can find them cheap
on e-bay.
While I do most of my own modeling using 3ds Max, I primarily model
the environments in which my Poser characters live.I find myself going
to Daz3d and RMP for all my character, texture and clothing needs.
I animate and set up all my characters inside Poser and then transfer
them to Max by using a Fusion Poser/Max plugin. I then set up the lights,
cameras and all needed textures within Max.
I render the animations by using a V-Ray plugin. I use a 2.35 image aspect
ratio on all my video animations. It just gives them a more cinematic look.
I thank you for looking at my Gallery!

Wow ! would be the shortest way to express my admiration but it wouldn't be enough...I'm a bit speechless...this animation is so...so...amazing ! The sounds (DV breathing, the sound of the falling rain...), the different movements, the effects, etc, etc...everything is perfect. If I was a Hollywood guy I would recruit you right now !

Bravo JohnnyM bravo. Rolls out the red carpet lol, very well done I thoroughly enjoyed watching that. The atmospheric weather effects were awesome, it gave me those movie chills while watching it. Nicely placed together to make the viewer feel the atmosphere.
I'm looking forward to the next episode. I can appreciate the time and patience it took you to create that. Very talented :-)

Those animated body movements are second to none.

A breathtaking video that takes us far from this real world under scorching hot Summer temperatures! I was amazed by what I saw and the way you animate your characters in a fabulous sci-fi environment where the repetition of certain echoeing sounds brings about a sense of , how shall I put it... cyber trance ! Wonderful artwork, my friend !

oh people really get what you're doing, and they recognize your animation skills right away. I don't know where you got your eye, but you do these like you've been making animations and films for some time. You have such a cinematic eye. Whoosh....
Unlike your previous still, this opens with darth to the left, and this long widescreen vista of openness and haunting desolation and beauty. Your non-weathered "deleted scene" was a great contrast: That's more of a early eve/early morn mystical time of day, muted and nostalgic and mournful in feel. I like both openings. But the weathered version pulses in mood and depth. Also you opened with two billows of ink-like liquid burbling across the screen: Beautiful. If you ever see the japanese horror film "Kwaidan," It opens with ink billowing into water...you're in fine company.
When the ship enters, boom: Your cinematic eye: The ship zooms in, then zooms out. You don't seem to let an inch of video pass without filling it with cinematic motion, composition, etc. When Darth enters afterwards, you zero in on his feet and then pull back: More cinema! Entering with the feet is starting 'intimate', then pulling back to the larger view. Followed by a great image, one of your best: You turn around and we see the ship in the background, like a dark looming beast, and the people there to greet Darth. A great shot, if I can use the word. Love that angle, and the space. And you use members of the site for your characters. I love it. (Always love to see communion between artists.) And then the deleted scene. (Really: If you're gonna give deleted scenes, you gotta have full length commentaries with director, cinematographer and the lead actor...and interviews with critics, with the disgruntled producer who said it wouldn't work until he/she saw the finished product and said "it's oscar material!" We're talkin' Director's Cut here, soon to come out on 4k/UHD, for only 65 bucks! ((Hey, it's a 4 disc set---it's a steal!)) Ok, ignore my dumb jokes, but I love that you showed that deleted scene---it's beautiful in its own right.)
I've said it before, you have the "eye", Johnny. You have it. I've not seen one animation from you where you didn't show total command of visual language and expression. Another delight from you. And again, thanks so much for your kindness, it's greatly appreciated.
