I'm just Molly. Mrs. Mike was my ID for many years when I modeled for my deviant husband, Mike B. It was Mike that introduced me to Poser.
I have modeled in real life a bit. My introduction to 3d imaging was through making pictures of my adventures in Second Life and over the10 years I've been learning Poser and making Poser pictures. In real life, I am a near completely retired health care professional and a full time grandma. In my digital life I am a Second Life heroine, a Second Life villainess and here and at Deviant Art I'm a budding 3D artist.
My next big project is to learn Blender.

Fantastic image!!! The poses for the Loik are so great!!!!
MollyFootman
Thanks, Kellie! Those poses are slightly tweaked versions of what was included with the content. Nursoda is a genius!

Great alternative view of the scene, with cool light bloom around the staff! The Loik poses just crack me up :-)
MollyFootman
Heh. Yes, they are strangely cute little things and those poses are perfect for what I had in mind when I looked at 1971s' content. Thanks for commenting, my dear.

This is excellent, Molly! Your lighting is perfect!
Be careful with those "vague" story ideas.... They quickly take on a life of their own... Trust me..... LOL
MollyFootman
Thanks, Rod. I know about story ideas getting hold of you.... >.<
I was very pleased with the lighting and am grateful that you comment. I messed with it quite a bit and what you see is really mostly rendered and not a bunch of postwork. =)

Really an ace job on lighting. Love how it beems about.
Strange figures on the ground. Well done atmosphere and character.
MollyFootman
Thanks, Steve. The secret sauce for the lighting is a very small volumetric (atmosphere) density increase, like a very light fog. I am always experimenting with such things and it worked out pretty well, here. =) The Loiks are splendid, I agree! XD

Firstly apologies for not commenting for so long... But I have had a marathon catch up of the last few weeks today so am hopefully now up to date.
Second, hats off to your prodigious output! I struggle to get one Skytown page done per month, so I am very impressed that you have so many different threads and stories going all at once - The Tooniverse is an inspired idea and i like the feel of those layouts (though " the odd couple" remains a firm favourite). This Loik series is shaping up very nicely too; the little guys work brilliantly in 1971's scenery.
Glad you managed to get past the frankly rather arbitrary mods. The inconsistency with which rules are applied, and the fact that the mildest artistic nudity is considered worse than extreme graphic violence remains a mystery to me...
MollyFootman
Heh. I join you in being mystified, Joe. I really appreciate you comments and enjoy hearing from you. I'm in the process of going through a few weeks of cool posts so you may be hearing more from me in the next few days. ;-)

Oh my! What will happen next! You have me hooked! Love these scene and the mystery associated with them!
MollyFootman
Thanks, Rad! I don't know if I'll do any more in this series but it certainly is pleasing to know you've enjoyed it! =)

Aamzing composition, superb atmosphere and lighting, brilliant awesome render.
Magnificent Masterpiece of Finest Arts. I love it!
The Loiks stole the show again, though.
MollyFootman
Heh. Yes, those Loiks are a lot of fun! Thanks for the comment, Marius! =)

Thank you! I was a bit limited by the hardware available and am very pleased with how it came out. =) Molly

I want a Loik....
MollyFootman
Heh. They are cute little devils and should render in DAZ Studio 4 with just a bit of adjustment to their materials. Nursoda's stuff is brilliant in it's eccentricity. I always enjoy hearing from you, JD!
