Description
The cool set from Fefecoolyellow ("You Cant Deny Me dforce for Genesis 8 & 8" here on Renderosity) which contains a rebuild of a Roland AX-EDGE-Keytar just reminded me, that I once started to model my older Roland AX-SYNTH Keytar in Hexagon. So I thought, I dedicate these renders to Fefecoolyellow. :-)
When I swapped to Blender in last December, I continued the Keytar, cleared up the Topology of the model a bit and did some UV-Mapping. I'm still not ready yet, but I'm much more close to finishing it. The really big Part is then to come, when I have to rig all the Keys of the keyboard (49 keys). Further more I want to make a Bandolier, fitting Genesis 3/8 Figures and make possibly some Poses.
So there is still a lot of work to do, and since this is an "on and off"-Project, I suppose it still will take a while until it is finished. But I thought I will let you have a peek at the current state of the project. :-)
As well I'm not sure yet if I shall sell the finished product in the store. Would anyone ever buy something like that at all????
The Render is a Cycles-Render made in Blender

This is simply freaking amazing!! An awesome work of art with Blender, my friend! Rigging 49 keys..... My head aches just thinking about that... This looks like a finished product right now - the details are amazing.
If things ever get settled here, and we do get moved to a new place, I have GOT to start messing with Blender. There's another fellow here at 'Rosity that does a lot of streams on Twitch making stuff in Blender. His name is Chris Cox, and he does some pretty cool stuff.

I feel the same way Rod feels on his above comment, concerning how this model looks so polished and finished. You certainly know your way around modeling in Blender. You have my complements on the making this amazing model...keep up the great work! :-)
