I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Oh, man, that's terrible. I'm so sorry that house is giving you so much trouble.
This scares me, my house was built in the 50s and there is no basement...
Radar_rad-dude
Why even bother to do this, Rod! Just explain to the seller what you perceive are the issues and let the new owner deal with it! They might just tear down the house and start over from scratch anyway! Sorry for all your problems! Hope you get a just return on all the time and money invested in your repairs! God Bless you and your family!

Lets hope for your sake Rod that this is the last of the problems you have to fix prior to saying "Good-by" to everyone in your neighborhood. The labor alone to this work looks and sounds expensive. You have my sincere best wishes for everything to go well for you in your pending move my friend! :-)

I went through the same thing two years ago only they also had to replace the line to the city sewer as well. I can feel your pain $$$. I'm still using Preparation H to this day...😢

That's insane. I'd probably sell as is and runaway, or maybe just runaway. Good luck with fixing all that, but don't let it stress you out. Getting stressed isn't going to help. I recommend getting a big Dairy Queen milkshake and chilling under a tree for an hour.

OMG!!!! I haven't had a DQ shake in years! I think I'm gonna do that tomorrow!! Thank you! 😁👍👍

Welcome to the club, I had it full options this spring..
Let the Web Telescope alone and relax, they are already building a much better one, it's supposed to be 4 times better..
I have no idea how things work there but any appealing community waiting for you with bread and chocholate so you just get rid off all those headaches and enjoy whatever, doesn't sound great to me. But what do I know about modern world...
All helping houses for older people to me sounds like "I'd better skip that heaven and stick to my safe world..".
Reality is filled with broken pipes, fairies have everything awesome.., until you hit the wall.. It is your choice.

If it is not one thing it is another. It never ends. The pain in life...physical, emotional and financial. Like going to the dentist. They physically hurt you by scaping, probing and cleaning, then they emotionally hurt you with bad news like a root canal or some such thing, then they financial hurt you with the huge bill all in about an hour that you are there.

Wow! I'll share that wish for you get the money back when you sell the house.
STEVIEUKWONDER
I'm sure it will be the ultimate selling point when you eventually sell your house. There is a saying you probably have heard 1,000 times... S I B K I S! SEE IT BIG - KEEP IT, SIMPLE SIR! See that underground drainage as your ultimate selling point and pile on the Dollars! I wish you all the best Rod. Indeed you have been inordinately busy. Stay safe Sir!

Yikes! What next, Rod? After this "enhancement," rush to sell the bloody house and move into that retirement complex. Life is too short to continue with all these headaches. The costs for staying in the house and continuing with repairs likely outstrip the benefits at this point. Just make sure you keep all the receipts for all these repairs for tax purposes. I am sure after you move you will appreciate a life not consumed with stuff like this...

The building where I live has been covered in scaffolding for weeks, and the building noise has been considerable. The advantage I have is that I am not paying for the work, the landlord is. I hope your drainage is done soon and you can relax a bit.

Wow! Best wishes to you and I hope it all comes out great!

OMG - What a mess, made me really cry! Good Luck Brother, take it easy, some years ago we also had the whole basement under water, stood up to our knees in water and tried to sweep the water out of the garage, while the water gushed out of the wall as if a tap had been turned on, this shitty master builder had the elephant skin installed the wrong way around!!!!!!

I can sympathize with you, seven years ago we flooded our apartment by acident and I had to tear out the entire parquet floor, replace doors and rewallpaper. But only after the dryers had been running from 7am to 10pm for 6 weeks. My best wishes to you and I hope it all comes out great!

Best wishes to you, Rod!

I feel for you, Rod, I live in NJ and Work in New York City, both have been perpetually under construction my entire life. Good luck with everything.

Wow, Rod. Haven’t been on Rendo for many months. Didn’t know about this huge mess on your hands. We’ll be in touch. Your gallery looks as great as always😊

OMG!!! Bill!
Good to hear from you, buddy! Hope you and Tara are doing well! Yeah, it's been total insanity around here for the last couple years or so. We've managed to side-step COVID, but everything else has been nuts. We're hoping to get out of this place sometime in the near future but will probably be here through the winter.

Watch out Rod this is looking more like a renovation and not a fix too sell. What next, roof?
RodS
Roof's already been done a few months ago. It never ends.... 😉

Now i remember, new shingles. Right?
RodS
Yep! New shingles, new rain gutters.. All we need now is new paint and it's ready for market. Gotta find a new place to live first! LOL

A bigger van?
MollyFootman
Ack! I lived in such a house years ago... >.< There will be an end to this which will hopefully coincide with the return of reasonable mortgage rates so that you can sell it without much trouble. =)
Hang in there, my dear!
