I'm just Molly. Mrs. Mike was my ID for many years when I modeled for my deviant husband, Mike B. It was Mike that introduced me to Poser.
I have modeled in real life a bit. My introduction to 3d imaging was through making pictures of my adventures in Second Life and over the10 years I've been learning Poser and making Poser pictures. In real life, I am a near completely retired health care professional and a full time grandma. In my digital life I am a Second Life heroine, a Second Life villainess and here and at Deviant Art I'm a budding 3D artist.
My next big project is to learn Blender.

Looks great Molly - laptop or no.....

Thanks, JD. I am a bit limited about the number of characters, props and textures that I load with the laptop and I have to render using the CPU because the GPU has NOWHERE near enough memory. At least this trip I have my library working on a USB drive so I have plenty of interesting stuff to select from.

Fine scene - good ideas.

Thanks, Mazzam. You can't go wrong with a mad scientist, a monster and a cute Robotrix. XD

It's Alive, It's ALIVE! Love Frankenstein. Super job on this wonderful creation.

I have at least three versions of Frankenstein's monster but this on by Tempesta 3D is my favorite. Thanks for the comment, my dear! =)

Thank you! I do love my Steampunk/Mad Scientist/Robot/monster themed work! XD

What a cool scene! But I think the mad scientist/doctor is underestimating the advantages an android/gynoid has over any being made of decay-prone flesh!
I love how you've used Steampunk Area B here, with the green lighting that's perfect for the being within the chamber!
MollyFootman
Thanks, Amy! Mad Scientists and their search for immortality; what are you going to do with them? I like the little B-Co character and agree if I was a mad scientist I'd probably stop at her and leave the meat-monsters to someone else. Steampunk Area B has been waiting for a picture like this in my library of stuff for ever. XD

Poor old Dr Frankenstein- not sure how that would replace us all!
MollyFootman
Heh. Well, the monster is a prototype and I'm sure that the mad doctor sees a much better version in his fevered mind! Muah hahahaha! XD

Fascinating take on this subject. One wonders what Shelley herself would have imagined if she had been writing a few decades , when the concept of androids had become commonplace. Its notable in that in E.Kellet's "The New Frankenstein" of 1899 the inventor creates a robotic female that proves convincing enough to fool suitors!.
MollyFootman
Thanks, Joe! I think Shelley got the ball rolling and I've always loved the subtitle "a modern Prometheus". I'm not familiar with the work by Kellet and I'll have to have a look for it. Of course, this picture was entirely my own story inspired by Shelley and not meant to be an illustration of her remarkable work.

Oh my! How did I get so very far behind on your art? I am totally ashamed of myself! A very haunting and marvelous rendition of this old classic theme! Turned out fantastically well I must say! Excellent work! Bravo!
MollyFootman
Yes, the old Frankenstein's monster trope always pleases me! XD Thanks for letting me know that you enjoyed the image, too, my dear! =)
