Description
It is the morning after Lilja Darkstar's abduction from the Darkstar manor and we find Fat Bob and Sonja Steelsinger rattling through the streets of New Babbage and headed for the manor. They have no idea that Lilja has been abducted by a pair of sky pirates with the connivance of the head maid clank whose thinking function has been contaminated.
"Ehm. Ehm. It rankles me like teh 'ave you drivin' teh buggy, Miss Steelsinger." The big clank ordinarily acted as a chauffeur of sorts.
" 'tis my desire teh arrive in a single piece, Bob. Yer drivin' is brisk but too adventurous fer me and certainly fer teh likes o' teh new guvnor. She's a lady of a certain!" Sonja skillfully guided the steam buggy around a paused omnibus picking up passengers and then slowed as she eyed a negligent male pedestrian.
"Ehm. Ehm. Yer timid pace'll make us late, Miss Steelsinger!" Bob complained.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 12.0.757 and tweaked a bit in Photoshop. Fat Bob is by Simon-3D, Sonja Steelsinger is based on La Femme with modifications by Afrodite-Ohki. Throughout the picture are characters based on V3, L'Homme, Poser Dork and others legacy figures. The setting is by BlueTreeStudios.

there's actually steam in a steampunk scene! ;) I like those vehicles and the way the people in the street (and on high) look like they belong there; they are moving/living beings not models standing stiff like a prop. well done!

Thank you! I took a lot of time adding some background people and I'm always thinking about how to pose them to avoid the mannequin look that you describe. =) The steam is kind of fun as it's a prop from a Michael C product and part of the rendering not postwork.
