Description
Another in my occasional series of nature deities and protectors.
Dhat-hami, ´She of the Sanctuary' was the pre-Islamic Arabian goddess of oases, nature and the rainy season, worshipped throughout ancient Yemen, Somalia, and Ethiopia, usually at tree circled pools. A priestess or Khalimah (literally 'Dreamer') would lie down and sleep before the sacred trees to receive an oracle in the form of a prophetic dream.

Meaningful but the content interesting, well, people defend their own choices in hands, like hanging a painting on the wall.

I love the sense that she is in communication with the birds! The tropical pastoral setting seems perfect to me. The stones look slippery! O.O
