Description

Lake Michigan again, dawn. Thought it fitting for Halloween---cause it's kinda spooky. The sun gets that shape, btw, from atmospheric distortion: No manipulations were involved. (Looks like a lava lamp, doesn't it?) One more to go... ------------------

Indeed it has a wonderful spooky feel to it - but in a fun Halloweenish (is that a word? LOL) way. Your skill with a lens is legendary, Mark! You rock!

yeah, this is a bit spooky with the really dark silhouettes against the bright orange sky. that sun looks like it's predicting a hot day tomorrow; as in 'red sky at night sailor's delight.' I love the bird you captured in this scene, it adds another layer of the feeling of time rolling by. this is such a well balanced photo.
