Description
I'm sorry to tell Virginiese and JohnnyM that their favorite pet is the cause of a love breakup...this young man couldn't stand the animal anymore ! (personally, I understand him !).
The idea of the image came to my mind when I found on Sketchfab, this original room (thanks ArnaudL), on the one hand, and when I saw a couple in town the other day : the man, tall, muscular, handsome, accompanied by a creature outrageously made up (you know what I mean !), was holding on a leash one of these tiny dogs and, from my point of view, totally ridiculous! The scene was funny...I was happy I was not this man !
Have a super weekend, my friends.

Great idea and composition as usual gaius - sometimes seeing something in our everyday lives provides inspiration as with this one here :)

I've had a row and relationship break up because of a dog, but it was ghastly and had a skin ailment meaning it had no hair! Looked like a drowned rat and I wouldn't mind but for the fact, she doted on the dog in such a way that was not healthy for the dog or HER! lol Beautifully staged and presented! Top Marks!
JohnnyM
First things first! Great news...my favorite four legged little friend is alive and well! Thank's gaius for bringing him back from the clutches of that creature in your previous scene.
Now its easy to see how this small four legged friend could easily outperform this man in the love it has to offer this woman. Dogs tend to love their owners unconditionally no matter what type of day she may be having and that my friends is a tough one to beat no matter what this human male has to offer her!
If the dog could speak, he would let out three loud barks in this scene and tell the man not to let the door hit him on the way out! Remember folks if you are ever faced with this situation...get the dog a bone, a cookie or any delicious treat and become this dogs ally. Its always best to join them if you can't beat them! Outstanding scene work as always my friend! :-)

Is this a sausage dog, otherwise called a Dachsund ? I used to see these often as a child and then they disappeared from my world until about three years ago...... but now few days pass without one cocking its leg along my street or trying to steal my crisps in the pub. Funny how dog breeds cycle in and out of popularity. For me Airedale Terriers and Rhodesian Ridgebacks are always the boys to guard your back yard and arse.

The detail of the dog in the bed is a realistic filling for the whole scene and interesting like that..
