Toussaint, Jour des morts, Dia de los Muertos, Halloween...la saison est riche en célébrations plus ou moins morbides...je dois avouer que ça ne m'intéresse pas beaucoup et pourtant, pris par l'ambiance j'ai fait cette image.
Bon dimanche en vous souhaitant qu'il fasse aussi beau et chaud que dans les Alpes et merci pour vos commentaires.
Toussaint, Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos, Halloween...there are so many morbid celebrations around the world ! I must say I'm not really interested in these celebrations...however, caught by the ambiance, I made this image.

Dis donc, c'est drôlement bien réussi! J'adore! Moi non plus je n'aime pas trop Halloween mais les enfants adorent! Ici aussi il fait beau. Je reviens d'une virée sous le soleil en Allemagne où j'ai vu un marché de tissus et où j'ai mangé à la terrasse d'un restaurant tellement il faisait bon.

S'ils sont enfin réunis et heureux, pourquoi pas. La nécrophilie a ses partisans... J'ai dans ma collection de BD des histoires de bon goût (?) qui sont tirées de "Tales from the Crypt". Toutes en finesse, comme ton image. Je ne suis pas très porté sur les films/histoires/images d'horreur sauf s'il y a de l'humour et du second degré.

For someone who is not that much into Halloween, you certainly know how to make outstanding and visually captivating creepy images! I believe with great talent you are capable of any thing you can imagine Gaius. I hope my favorite four legged little friend is staying safe indoors, preferably on a warm spot next to the fireplace. In defence of halloween, it was originally meant to be an occasion of solemn contemplation and remembrance of loved ones, nothing like the absurd ghoulfest/cosplay parade/etc. it has become.

Une composition de circonstances, avec cette fois-ci un travail sur les tonalités et la lumière beaucoup moins prononcées que dans tes travaux habituels. La croix celtique rappelle que la fête chrétienne de la Toussaint tombe, comme par hasard, à pic avec celle des druides qui fêtaient Samhain, qui débutait la saison sombre, et où les conflits guerriers ou individuels devaient cesser, et surtout où il était possible d'entrer en communication avec le monde des défunts. Puis les supermarchés se sont emparés d'Halloween et on connait la suite !!! Bon, j'aime beaucoup cette création au titre un tantinet moqueur et décalé!
