Hello Rendosians !
Here is a picture taken during my last vacation. You can see the beautiful seashores of the Groix Island, located in the Atlantic Ocean.
Groix is a picturesque and touristic french Island that belongs to the Region Bretagne. In the background, you can see the french coastline (the town of Lorient). You can reach Groix with a ferryboat in about 45 minutes.
Most of the people come there for just one day as the island is very small. It's a beautiful quiet place where you can have a walk and take some beautiful pictures of the sea.
Alas, inhabitants of Groix regularly experience problems of drough, especially when the summer is hot like it was in France this summer. Tourists are invited to spare water when they come on the island : a perfect example of solidarity for ecology and nature's preservation...
As for me, I was impressed by the rocks of the shores and the magnificent and wild seascape.

Une superbe photo de vacances d'un endroit qui ne m'est pas inconnu. Le bleu de l'océan donne des envies de vacances, c'est sûr. Je veux bien croire que séjourner près de la mer, dans la confidentialité d'une petite crique de la côte sauvage sous le soleil d'été, a de quoi apporter tous les ingrédients nécessaires à des congés régénérants avec une petite touche d'air marin iodé ! Le nom celtique de l'île, Enez Gwrac'h, l'île de la sorcière, a certainement ses racines profondes dans le fait que chez les Celtes, toute île avait un caractère sacré, et que la sorcière en question avait de grandes chances d'être une druidesse!

Cette vue est absolument magnifique, un enchantement pour les yeux qui illumine la météo tristounette de ce jour, c’est également photographié avec talent... J’admire aussi la présentation de tes images qui est toujours très soignée !!

Wow! I almost expected this to be a photograph out of an expensive travel agency brochure...its such a beautiful photo you took of Groix Island. Its nice that you were able to visit such an amazing place. You have my sincere appreciation for leaving such a wonderful comment on my latest upload! The next time I need a distraction, I will ask to borrow your DJ mouse for sure, I will have him play some slow DJ music to put the monster to sleep, so the girl can have enough time to get away! Beautiful and somewhat serene capture...like you I like the rockery and the interesting colors of the water...bravo! Will be interesting to see what our winter brings in terms of the water tables, I think we are a bit below rain levels...
