Description
Diwata - In Philippine folklore and mythology, usually a spirit or lesser god or goddess, and also known as a guardian of the forest. Very much comparable to the 'faeries' of English folklore. A diwata or engkanto would usually be radiant or pale in physical appearance, in other instances, the lack of a philtrum, one that suggests its ethereal root as a non-earthbound entity. They can sometimes lure humans to their worlds, whenever they feel a deep connection with that person and would offer them ambrosia usually white, red, and black in color.
