Description

Kapre - creature in Philippine folklore and mythology known as tree-dwelling guardians of the forest and oftentimes featured as hairy, muscular, sometimes tree-like or wearing a special cloth that gives it the power of invisibility. Recognize a kapre with its strong body odor and out of place cigar smoke which is usually its nocturnal habit. They are also reputed to grant wishes by obtaining a magical relic that can control it.
