Description
Thank goodness the evil, arrogant, ignorant Bolsonaro has been defeated. Let's hope we never see his ugly face again. Let's also work together to rid the world of similar right-wing, fascistic leaders. They are pure poison.

I was relieved that the Idiot Bolsonaro lost the presidential election, which he has done to the rainforest needs generations to make up for it again. Wonderful image,love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, rainforests do not restore like the forests we are familiar with in the temperate zone...very poor soil and the way the plants in rainforests interact with one another is nearly impossible for humans to reproduce. So, as it stands, it unlikely that those areas, so irresponsibly destroyed, will ever be restored. It's a real tragedy.

This is such a beautiful and captivating image. The rain forest has often been referred to as the lungs of the planet, due to the amount of oxygen the plants produce in this region. Lets hope for the sake of humanity, we do everything possible to save it! Have a great Halloween! :-)

Now we just need to get our own governments to restore the decimated wetlands of Europe and North America, which can sequester carbon faster, and store more, than tropical rainforests... and to stop acidifying the ocean which is the real lungs of the planet!

oh man, when I read that Lula had been elected, I jumped up and yelled "Yes!!!!" I hope it happens here too! (Hope, hope!) As for the image, it's a beautiful evocation of the mist and depths of the jungle (I assume you've been in jungles in your work---I haven't ever). And the beautiful overgrowth everywhere. With the colors of the animals. In addition to the essential role of the Amazon rain forest for the whole world (it's all connected, deniers!), don't get me started on the call to address these issues everywhere...as a prof said years ago, at a conference on warming, during grad school: "These are serious f-----g cards, people!" And that was the1970s. I hope people are listening now! Beautiful image.
