Description

Steampunk Lolita 1 A lot of work went in to kitbashing this outfit. Of course, living with Parkinson's I have my good days (which means I can be very productive as well as getting some walking exercise in), and I have my bad days (which means I'm chair-ridden). During my good days, I can work on a render like this and plow through it with what seems like ease. On those bad says, working in DAZ or dabbling in AI art engines is about all I can muster. This outfit is a result of good days and bad days. I'd love to put together some "texture packages" for products like this BL Dress from DAZ or some of the Renderosity products, so if anyone knows of a good tutorial on how to create "texture packages" in such a way it doesn't impinge on other's copyrights, please post a link in a Site Mail message. And, if I do get it figured out, the added bonus will be I will put it up in Free Stuff. (I'm past those days of trying to make money, sell or market stuff. I'm at that age where it's time to give back.) Part of the kitbash involved a top, or should I say part of a top, by Lully. (I just love her outfits.) Using the opacity setting in the surfaces tab I cranked the portions I didn't need for the kitbash down to zero. And, on a side-note about Parkinson's. I've been reading Michael J. Fox has been falling quite a bit lately. Oh, how I can relate to that. My prayers are with him and his family, as well as all with disabling diseases like Parkinson's, M.S., Myasthenia Gravis, Lupis and others. They are tough blows to be the receiver and those who live with them.

Thank you. Hoping life is good where you're at. We're getting wind, rain, sleet and snow today. It's a good day for staying inside here in Utah.

Thanks. I'll have to see if I can find which canned pose I started with. I'll let you know if I do.

Hi Brent, I know it, it's like hell on earth, but most of the artist are not interested and that's a big shame!

I wasn't really complaining, but explaining. I cannot complain about my life. I have it darn good... even on my bad days.

I have a good friend who got Parkinson's about a year before I did (and his wife has even worse health problems) , and with his and his wife's lousy insurance, they've about lost everything they owned.

Personally, I wouldn't call it 'hell on earth'. I call it a challenge that I think I've adapted to quite well.

Besides, there's not a person on earth whom I'd like to trade places with. I love the life I have and where I am at this stage and age of life. Even if that means living with Parkinson's.
