Description

Bryce 5, horse and girl from Poser. Minor postwork in Photoshop (colour correction etc.). ************** This time I've built a forest to demonstrate the incredible flexibility of the "fake foliage" trees. (For further information on this trick, read my "article" in the Bryce forum.) But, note the file size: 5,1 mb (before importing the Poser figures - didn't save the file with them). I can't explain why the file is THIS small, it may be due to the fact that the trees are duplicates (Bryce only has to save information on one tree object). 164 trees in this scene, each tree is about 14.500 polygons, that's small! - I've come to notice that some of the trees are on the brink of "flying", well, consider this a WIP ;o) A lot more work could be done to make this into a work of art, hope you find it inspirational anyway. Thanks for viewing - comments welcome.

This is a really neat trick and the fact that the filesize is so small is even neater. Good Job.

Lars, the "trick" is simply wonderful. I read your article, and it was inspiring. So, pal, it's not a "trick", but pure inspiration. Thanx for sharing the tecnique.

I could not tell it was this good by the preview. This is really calming. I like the way you use the haze in the distant. And of course the trees are remarkable.
