Description
I have bought the other day this set of earrings (there is 4 different types of earring) for my elven characters. So since I think I am not very good at portrait and that I want to practice, I thought it was a good occasion to do it.
I am pretty happy with the result. I think it might be my best 3d portrait so far. :)
There is one strange thing with portraits though, they are always really long to render. I mean, I have rendered scenes with a dozen of people in it that had rendered way way much faster. I don't understand why...
You won't see the difference but I have changed Minalva's eyelashes here and I think I will keep them. Also, I haven't applied some sort of make up on her, but for some reason the light really makes her lips pop out.
About the earrings, the models are very good, but since they are not rigged (to prevent any deformation I guess), I had to use a D-Former to have the emerald jewel fall correctly, otherwise it would have been in a weird angle, like if gravity was not existing.
