Description
-o§o-________ Nice to see you again! Here is a picture taken on the eve of All Saints' Day, which some people call Halloween, and others like myself call Samhain, after the Celtic festival that ushered in the dark months of the year.
________-o§o- The picture shows the Swiss Alpine peak of the Schilthorn, 2,970 meters above sea level, accessible only by foot or by cable car every day of the year. I was standing at a height of 2,677 meters, on another mountain called Birg, on a recently built observation platform where part of the floor is actually a thick pane of glass that you can walk on for a thrill, especially if you are afraid of heights!
________-o§o- The view from there was exceptional, with the Schilthorn and its revolving restaurant named Piz Gloria at the top on the one hand, and on the other, an extraordinary view of the three 4,000-meter peaks of the Bernese Alps: the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau. The light was also exceptional and very beautiful on that day...
________-o§o-Thank you so much for your comments on my latest Parisian photo, have a nice and artistic week, and stay safe...Please zoom in for more details!
