(this is actually the cardinal's mansion in Chicago, the head of Chicago's catholic church...It's right in front of Lincoln Park where you've seen many lagoon and forest shots from me...and Lake Michigan is 4 blocks away.) (hey, Second City---the famous improv club---is only 6 blocks away. It's a cool part of town, the part they sang about in the song "sweet home, chicago"...)

great manip work on this mansion capture Mark. i enjoy the white highlights and darkness along the buildings.

the contrasts in this image are cool. the deep dark shadows and the intense bright light make for an interesting image to study. I love the texture of the brick and the roofing, too.
