Description
Hi everyone,
I've been absent several days (to rest), but I wanted to post for Steve tonight---eekdog---because he finally got his hernia operation, and it was a success! I received some notes from him Friday saying that he came through it well (yes!), and was able to walk and move, and that he didn't have a lot of pain.
Hooray!
I'm so happy to hear that! He'd had all kinds of pain and discomfort for many weeks, so he was understandably concerned that the operation would be difficult. But it was a success! And hopefully the pain will stay minimal throughout his recovery. (Steve's been through a lot in the last years, and he's one of the kindest people here...he's so supportive and caring to everyone...and one just wants him to have the best. And---no small 'extra'---he does album-cover quality art, with knockout design, colors and everything else, and I'm just really happy this operation is over. I hope there are no further side effects from here out.)
Keep resting, Steve: Don't go out and play 9 rounds of tennis! I wish you total healing and lots of rest, so you'll be able to greet the holidays in glowing shape---you deserve it! Tons of healing to you, get 100% better soon! mark
(the pic is from florida, near my Dad's home...it was a tranquil, dawn place, so I thought it would be good in Steve's backyard.) (He's got mountains out there---not too shabby!---but this scene's all about rest, so i chose it for his recovery.)

I'm still healing, but I'll leave a comment (or two) to all of you this weekend. I miss seeing you all! Thanks so much for your visits, they're always greatly appreciated. Take care, and stay well!

Lovely, peaceful scene for Steve. (Any gators hanging out in those waters?) I am sure Steve will greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness, Mark. His op is a routine and usually quite simple one, so he should be good as new very soon.

This scenic image is beautiful and will for certain bring forth a peaceful and relaxing mood to our friend Steve, while he recovers from his surgery. The reflection is amazing since it looks like a mirror that was put there on the water to reflect the splendid surroundings. You have such a skillful eye for taking beautiful photographs Mark, they are always outstanding!
I hope the holidays are treating you well and you are getting all the rest you need...be well and take care my friend! :-)

you did such an amazing job on the work of your awesome photo, did you use some type of filter on the lens or post work. whatever my friend, it is absolutely stunning! i was so amazed that i did not need any recovery, when i left the hospital i felt 985 fine and today better that 100. i feel better then i have in months, minus my normal back pains. the pain meds they gave me were mild and actually don't need them. and i thank you greatly and many other dear friends here for their support on my op. and again love this photo, with he water, super reflection on it with the trees and building. i always wondered why they call them buildings when they are complete/built. chat soon my friend. god bless. and again thank you Mark.
