Le 5 décembre 1933 marque, avec la ratification du 21 ème amendement, la fin de la prohibition.
Au-delà de l'aspect historique rappelé, mon image a une histoire : parmi les nouveautés en matière de bandes dessinées, l'une se détache : "Les serpent et le coyote" de Matz et, surtout, Xavier (Philippe), le dessinateur. J'ai beaucoup aimé un dessin en noir et blanc, page 45 (voir ci-dessus) et j'ai décidé de le reproduire dans Daz Studio mais quand ma femme a vu mon image elle m'a dit que l'on risquait d'y voir un plagiat ! J'ai vite trouvé l'adresse mail de Philippe Xavier, je lui ai écrit et, en moins d'une heure il m'a très gentiment répondu et m'a donné son feu vert en me demandant seulement de montrer son dessin et de donner les références de l'album, chez Le Lombard, collection "Signé".Vous l'avez compris, je le recommande chaudement avec cette réserve, selon moi, il n'existe qu'en français (https://www.lelombard.com/bd/le-serpent-et-le-coyote-12/le-serpent-et-le-coyote)
Cette image est donc un hommage à Ph. Xavier ; j'espère que vous l'apprécierez...et célébrerez avec modération !
Beyond the historical aspect, my image has a story : among the new comics, one stands out : "The snake and the coyote" by Matz and, above all, Xavier (Philippe), the drawer. I really liked a black and white drawing, page 45 (see below) and I decided to reproduce it in Daz Studio but when my wife saw my picture she told me that it could be seen as plagiarism ! I quickly found Philippe Xavier's e-mail address, I wrote to him and, in less than an hour, he kindly answered and gave me the green light, asking me only to show his drawing and to give the references of the album, published by Le Lombard, collection "Signé". As you can see, I highly recommend it but I thinkit's published in French only (https://www.lelombard.com/bd/le-serpent-et-le-coyote-12/le-serpent-et-le-coyote).
This image is a tribute to Ph. Xavier ; I hope you'll like it...and celebrate with moderation !

Tu es magnifiquement doué gaius! Si en plus, tu commences à faire dans l'historique, alors là plus rien ne t'arrêtera! J'aime beaucoup le résultat de ton rendu et le noir et blanc s'imposait effectivement pour ce genre d'image ! J'admire aussi la foule de détails dans cette image : tu as dû t'amuser à la composer! Bon, il ne manque plus qu'à ton actif une image de fantasy et une de science-fiction afin de devenir le maître incontesté de Daz Studio 😄 Meuhh non, tu sais que tu l'es déjà.

Dans ce 'deal' entre ce dessinateur doué et toi, c'est assurément du gagnant-gagnant, car il y a du talent et de l'énergie créatrice d'un côté et de l'autre, et pour ce qui est de ton apport personnel, je suis bluffé par ta maîtrise des détails et la fidélité dans le rendu à partir du dessin d'origine. Une fois de plus, je te tire mon chapeau ! La BD historique est un domaine passionnant que j'ai découvert il y a peu, alors je vais suivre d'un peu plus près le lien que tu as donné ci-dessus.
