Description
As a kid we would all pile into the car and Dad would drive all over our small town looking at the Christmas lights. It was like magic how all of the houses were transformed. This what these images remind me of, a tour of an old town. The week before Christmas is the perfect time, so come along.

what a beautiful collection! And i love your description. If you grew up in or near towns like this, you had magic in your childhood. All of these are beautiful. A beautiful gold/olive patina in some. In others, gold and amber. One image has gold and olive and yellow. The lights are gentle and expressive. And you got very photographic angles---what a photographer would look for. And some beautiful blue-white snow tones. Yeah, there's a feeling in these towns that there's real warmth inside (while it's snowy outside), and you portrayed that. You're getting real clarity in these images too, and the gentlest light. A real Christmas cornucopia---it's beautiful, Lyla. I hope your season is going beautifully.
