What a powerful watercolor, the flames seem to live, candles plus flames remind me of your refined avatar; As if they are moving together and desire (they can't wait) to be used as a brush. They are eager. The glow, the light, the shade, they are perfect, and do well against the blue structure of the background.

I looked again at those sparkling flames and now they look like tulips, and when they are (Dutch) tulips, they are eager to open, in full bloom and glory. Yes, I know it's, in this case, a powerful Menorah, a Jewish use for this time, and a wonderful symbol to show us this right now, Mark. Many thanks for this, my friend.

Thank you too for all your effort writing so many wonderful comments in my gallery, I feel privileged, and I greatly appreciate it that you do so much for me.

btw I'm really a kluns that I had written such a stupid piece under my "second last photo", meanwhile I've removed this. The last days were weird, like a kind of chaos, really everything happened, without getting a grip on it. Stay well my friend, and take it easy. That has to be because you are precious.

beautiful colors. the flames seem to dance in their holders. this is a wonderful painting. the whole thing is filled with love and warmth and tradition... all the things that make life worth it. bravo on doing watercolor so well.
