Description
(These are very large...they'll look much fuller zoomed...)
This is for Jacomina's birthday (dochtersions). Note that the main image is first...but it was too large to include the final panel (!!!), so I posted the last panel separately. (Classy, huh? Sorry, Jacomina! I planned this badly!)
I gave an alternate ending after that. So there's a little extra there...
Jacomina was one of my earliest friends here. She was part of an old wonderful group---her, me, Helanker (Helle), Tara, Bill, Andrea, etc---none of whom are here anymore, unfortunately. Like her other fans, her work and heart drew me in immediately. She's won two A.O.M.'s, and at least another award. (Forgive me if I don't remember the details! I know she has two or three awards, I'm sure of that.) She does some of the greatest, most penetrating fractals I've ever seen, she does paintings that all of us fell in love with---from realistic work to abstracts to all kinds of collages that I adore---and beautiful photography (of her beautiful homeland, the Netherlands). Not to mention her jewel-like poems, which she translates from Dutch. Her work goes deep inside the soul.
She's also a classical musician, and adores J.S. Bach. As I was trained in Bach---and adore him---that's a big "yes!!!" for me. She plays with her beloved husband Karel---who plays Bach on the organ---and I've often said that her art has a lot of Bach in it. If you don't know classical music, trust me: That's a compliment!
Jacomina has also been very open, here, about her health...and she's bravely fought health issues for years. Helle said her art is so exquisite, how wonderful it is that she turns her struggles into such beauty. I totally agree.
I'm truly privileged to know Jacomina. I marvel at her work and her deep kindness, and I want to wave a wand and make her life radiate healing and joy every second. I wish I could...Well, I didn't leave room for my 'signature' above, so let me give it here:
All of us who've known you love you, Jacomina: You're a gift and a beacon to us all. I wish you a wonderful birthday---(here goes:) Gefeliciteerd! Ik wens u heel veel liefde en geluk op je verjaardag. Gelukkige Verjaardag partner! (I hope that was correct!)---and a blessed holiday too. I wish you all the light, healing and radiance in the world, with love, gratitude, and lots and lots of blessings (which you deserve), mark
Thanks for your visits, everyone...they're greatly appreciated!

Petunia, Petunia an abundance of colors which can speak.
Details refined highlighted powerful in plural strong veritable.
Extensive light and flames beautiful flames that escape from the core of every flower like a breath.
The simplicity refined in black and white as shined by the light of the moon mysterious the grainy texture.
intensely fascinating mesmerized.
Something to delve into Delve into, I just love that because life is to delve into, always this is also the case with making art such as this showpiece of yours.
Dear Mark, you are a wonderful person and friend, as there are no words to pronounce my thanks. My great friend you are all inspiration, wich I'm grateful for.
Petunia's met hemels licht beschenen als met zijde omgeven in kleuren die bewegen uitwaaien in de wind.
Statig pronkend in alle facetten zelfverzekerd krachtig standvastig in ÊÊn woord prachtig.

What is stated above is not the way I had arranged it. RR shows everything one after the other, while I wrote it in short sentences.
I send the right way via site mail.

Somehow, I managed to miss this magnificent dedication! This is a stunner, Mark - but that's no surprise. Your work is always stunning and unique! This current fad with AI; typing a few words and letting lines of code "create" something can't even come close to what you create with your eye and massive talent.
Oh..... Tara and Bill...... God, it's been so long. And last I knew they lived somewhere in Overland Park or Olathe, just across the state line from me. I seem to remember seeing something about Bill succumbing to Cancer a few years ago. Like Wolf, I've not heard from her in years. Hope she's OK..
Hope you have an Awesome Holiday, buddy!
