Annie was born in South Texas in the fifties, that time of Ike and Elvis and the Edsel. Her family was solidly middle class, and her life was normal in every way except one: she was born the wrong sex.BIOShe always knew she was different, but it wasnt until the onset of puberty that she realized just how bad the problem was. She was simply not a boy. She soon discovered that not going along with the deception would get her in trouble, and quickly became very good at pretending to be what she was not. Sometimes she even convinced herself.
Finally, after too many years of living a lie, she reached the point at which it was obvious that things would have to change. Once the decision was made, things happened quickly. Counseling, hormone therapy, support groups; the transition was scary, but at the same time joyful.
She is still in the process (many say its a process that never ends), and if you think shes going to give you more detailed information than that, youre wrong; some things remain personal.

I know you've worked on the smoke a bit. Smoke is very difficult, but I think it still looks too solid. The steam from the sides looks great. I just checked out the thread and I think your Black and White version is my favorite. The smoke even looks better in it.

I agree on the stack smoke, even though the piston smoke is great...But the rest of the scene is awesome. I love the grid work on the rafters...

Looks great, sorry but have to agree on the smoke. Pyrocluster?? I've had a rough time with it. That's not enough to keep me from giving this an Excellent though! I love the little details like the off-kilter "B" in Birmingham. A butt-load of work went into this, I can tell.

the smoke needs to be flowing in a direction rather than just up to give the feeling of wind, try fading it out to nothing. Try a sepia tone to the whole picture and add some scratches over the top will give it a real aged victorian type look. :)

That's a great work, I probably could not do the same

I also have to agree about the smoke but it is the last thing you should improve a bit I think!!!Nonetheless this image ROCKS!!!!!I love it,fantastic work.

Cracking model there. All you need now is an animation with some sound effects. :)

Well, I'm going to disagree about the smoke. It can look that 'thick'. Might be nice to distress it a little, although these trains where new once! My only suggestion would be to drop the camera and tilt up to give it more scale and, as suggested above, play around with the finished image in photoshop. One last question: why is the B of Birmingham falling off? (Mind you, knowing Birmingham I can understand why!)
